By default, we assume you'll want the backlight on all the time. However, you may want to PWM control or otherwise turn off the LED backlight to save power. You can do this with a simple hack. On the back, look for the '''backlight''' jumper. Solder the jumper labeled Pin 3. Then you can use Digital 3 to control the backlight.  

Le retro éclairage est toujours allumé par défaut. Il est cependant possible de contrôler la luminosité à l'aide d'une broche PWM ou même de l'éteindre le rétro-éclairage pour économiser l'énergie.  

 

Vous pouvez réaliser cela à l'aide d'un simple hacking. Cherchez après le cavalier/pastille '''backlight'''/'''backlite''' à l'arrière. Soudez la pastille à celle libellée #3. Vous pouvez ensuite utiliser la broche digitale 3 (qui est aussi PWM) pour contrôler le rétro-éclairage.
