VGA and DVI worked fine. HDMI worked with a TV monitor BUT not with my HDMI pc monitor.

So, I checked this site for help and/or clues, tried those but to ano avail. Then, I found this http://elinux.org/RPi_config.txt which led me to create a config.txt file with the following 6 lines (between the asterisks):
+
+
**************************
+
+
hdmi_drive=2
+
config_hdmi_boost=4
+
hdmi_group=1
+
hdmi_mode=16
+
hdmi_force_hotplug=1
+
disable_overscan=0************************** I put this file in the SD card folder that I use to boot my RPi (which by the way is the Debianbasic setup that I created following the instructions here and on the linux site). I then rebootedthe Rpi and it WORKED..!! I could see the boot sequence loading on the screen. I hope this helps others here too.
