{{asm-text}} Start by melting some solder onto one of the side pads of the JST footprint on the bottom

{{asm-text}} Place the JST and solder that pad onto the connector to tack it in place

{{asm-text}} Solder all four pads - two mechanicals on the side, and two power coming out the end.
